The Nacht van Woerden in the traditional "last race before the races start" in the European CX season. Originally run as an end of season road crit it's now a nighttime CX race around the city Kermis bringing people in on a week night. Far fewer were willing to brave the rain, wind, hail and lighting this year; those who did watched a proper modder around the central park as racers slid under the lights. The Koppenberg cross is on everyone's mind by the evening's close, maybe the weather next Saturday will match.
